The Lost Fleisher Studio Cartoons (DVD)
Founded in 1921 by brothers Max 'dave fleischer' and Dave Fleischer, the legendary Fleischer Studios were pioneering giants in the world of animation: they produced the first sound cartoon, invented the bouncing-ball sing-along, 'dave fleischer' and created truly indelible characters such as Popeye, Koko the Clown, and, of course, Betty Boop. This first volume of the LOST CARTOONS series presents a collection of rarely seen Fleischer classics in crisply restored versions that honor the legacy of the animation innovators, including An Elephant Never Forgets, The Kids in the Shoe, Musical Memories, Bunny Mooning, The Little Stranger, Time for Love, 'dave fleischer' and the original Technicolor versions of A Car-Tune Portrait 'dave fleischer' and Chicken a la King.
